Mike Henrickson, D.D.S.

Cosmetic dentist Mike Henrickson, D.D.S., is one of the leading dentists in the Twin Cities community and a 2004 graduate of the University of Minnesota’s School of Dentistry. After graduating, Dr. Mike continued to enhance his medical knowledge and training by completing a competitive dental residency at the University of Florida, St. Petersburg clinic. At this residency, he was able to spend the entire year with the Dawson group, who are seen as the leading teachers of TMJ/TMD treatment. During the year, he became proficient in extracting wisdom teeth, placing implants, treating TMJ disorder, and performing cosmetic dentistry procedures. In July 2005, Dr. Mike returned to Minnesota with his wife Laura to work with his father, Dr. Myron Henrickson, as a cosmetic dentist in the Twin Cities area. In his free time, he enjoys golf, skiing, hockey, and outdoor activities.

“I decided to become a dentist after being inspired by my father growing up. I also decided that I wanted to do something in the medical field to help someone. Dentistry is where I ended up. The one thing I love the most about being a dentist is seeing the patient smile after completing a lot of cosmetic dentistry and seeing the life change in that patient. It is extremely rewarding to know that I made that difference.”

Myron Henrickson, D.D.S.

“As a Twin Cities cosmetic dentist of 23 years and counting, there is one thing that is for certain: I love what I do! It all began when I graduated from the University of Minnesota Dental School in 1983 in the top three percent of my class. From that point on, I have done everything that I can in the way of training to enhance my abilities. This would include: a one-year training residency at the University of Minnesota, and advanced training in TMJ therapy and oral reconstruction at the Dawson Center for Advanced Dentistry. I have experience and training in the placement and restoring of dental implants. I’m also a graduate of the prestigious Cosmetic Training Institute of Las Vegas. I’ve been married to my wife, Joanne, for more than 30 years. We live in Lakeville and enjoy golfing and spending time with family.”

Hi, I’m Anna! In 1974 I graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee as a registered dental hygienist, and in 1975 I received a B.S. in psychology from Marquette. I live in the St. Paul area and have three adult children. I enjoy being with friends and family, reading, walking, and listening to music. I’ve been with Henrickson Dental since 1997 and sport a “Henrickson Cosmetic Smile” myself!

Hello, I’m Kathleen and I work in the office. I have a business education and work with billing, collections and other various tasks. I have been a patient since 1999 and an employee since 2003. One of the things that impressed me the most about Dr. Myron Henrickson was his ability to numb my mouth the pain-free way, as other dentists had been unsuccessful. He also created a smile I could comfortably share. I truly enjoy my work and feel great about having a job where people really believe in what they do. Hard work, dedication and devotion are the daily standard at this practice.

Hi, I’m Kathy. I wear many hats but stand strong in collections and as office manager. I have a business degree and volunteered at St. Jude’s Hospital for four years. I have worked with Dr. Myron Henrickson for many years, and the people at this practice have become like family to me.

I’m Carol, and I’ve been with the practice for the past 14 years. I am both certified and registered as a dental assistant. My husband and I reside in the White Bear area; we have three children and five grandchildren (amazing for 29). I enjoy gardening, reading and road trips through Minnesota and Wisconsin. Many of our patients have been with us for years; quite a few seem like old friends, and it’s fun to see how the kids have grown up. The patient contact is very gratifying. It has been especially rewarding to work in the area of cosmetic dentistry. A number of times, a patient’s smile has been so wonderfully transformed that it’s a life-changing experience for them. Good sound dentistry is great — but when you change how a patient feels about themselves and improve their self-esteem, that’s what charges me up!

Hello, my name is Heather. I am a registered dental hygienist and have worked for Henrickson Dental since 2004. I graduated from Century College with a degree in dental assisting and dental hygiene. I’ve also had extensive training in laser technology and bleaching. Working in a dental office with advanced technology such as this is not only extremely exciting, but very rewarding for me and my patients. I’ve experienced this first hand: Dr. Myron Henrickson created a fabulous cosmetic “Hollywood Smile” for me to show to the world. My coworkers consider me the adventurous one. When I’m not at work, I enjoy motorcycling, skydiving, skiing, traveling, and spending time with my hubby and our dog. I also love music and movies.

My name is Tricia. I graduated from Century College in 2004 and have been working as a registered dental assistant for the Henricksons since July 2005. What I enjoy most about my job is the fact that every day is different. I never know what to expect when I walk into work every day, and I especially enjoy meeting and helping all my different patients. Growing up, going to the dentist was something I did not look forward to, and it always helped to have a friendly assistant and doctor to help me through the process. It has been a truly wonderful experience turning into that assistant and making sure that every patient feels comfortable when they sit in the dental chair. When I’m not at the practice, I enjoy cooking, spending time with family and friends, and walking my dog.
