ANN: I had had a heart attack. And shortly after that, I lost a front tooth. And they would not let me, because of the blood pressure medicine I was taking, do anything. So about six months later I came in with no back teeth, a missing tooth here, and I was smiling like this. Before I had anything done, I was ashamed to smile. So I tended not to do it.

I was mainly afraid because my mouth was in such bad shape. I've never really feared pain or anything, and there really wasn’t any. But you know when your mouth isn’t nice--but they, you know, this is what they do. And they do it well.

When I came here, it was—they treat you with utmost respect. The entire staff, the two doctors are wonderful. They're just great. I came in for upper and lower plates. That was what I came in for. And they started talking to me. And I did not think it was feasible, and it was.

And I can’t say enough about implants. My uppers, I put them in, in the morning. They are there. They don’t rock. I don’t get food underneath them. I take them out at night. The implants are wonderful.

I fully expected to have all my teeth pulled. It took a little talking on Dr. Myron’s part to get me to, you know, but it’s, you know, this is way better than having no teeth. It’s way better.

After I had this work done, it, you know, just to be able to smile again. And I love to smile and laugh and joke. And you can do it. And it’s great.
