Posted under: 1 — Dr. Henrickson @ 6:57 pm

At Henrickson Dental, we use CEREC, which allows you to get natural colored crowns that last long and fit great in just one visit. CEREC uses CAD/CAM technology. It consists of a camera, computer, and milling machine in just one instrument. First, the special camera is used to take an accurate picture of the damaged tooth. Then, it is transferred and displayed on a color computer screen. The dentist then designs the restoration, then it automatically creates the crown. After the crown is made, it is bonded to the surface of the old tooth.
